Eb’n’Flow provides exceptional massage therapy, intuitive healing & psychic reading services. Runaway Graphics was approached to help create a branding identity for this unique business and help communicate that not all spirituality needs to be represented in the same manner. Logo design, business cards & promotional flyers were designed, with a website in the works.
The Skylark Room is a dedicated ‘dinner and show’ venue based in Upwey, VIC. The Skylark Room initially approached Runaway Graphics to help establish their business identity, requesting logo design, signage, promotional flyers, social media presence and website.
In the following months Runaway Graphics took on the responsibility of The Skylark Room’s marketing, producing event posters for performing bands, updated gig guides (monthly print versions, and weekly digital versions), website content, interviews and weekly email content as well as venue menus and other print material.
End of the Line festival ran in 2012, 2013 & 2015. It was initially conceived by Brent Dakis (Runaway Graphics), CJ Baxter (Twisted Fig) & Joshua Collings (Peg Leg Productions). The 2013 and 2015 End of the Line Festivals saw Kathleen Snowball join the core organiser team.
Runaway Graphics had the excitement and privilege of inventing, cultivating and refining the entire End of the Line identity. This included original logo design, website design, program design and production, photography & promotions, print material, online advertising and marketing, social media platforms, media releases, campaign packages, sponsorship packages, participant material, and festival merchandise.
This was an enormous volunteer undertaking and over the course of 4 years involved over 1200 hours work for the benefit of The Dandenong Ranges community, its artists and its musicians.
Grey Gardens is a stunning getaway property available to those seeking some inner-city style in a peaceful country setting. Runaway Graphics was approached to produce a website for Grey Gardens to help market it against upcoming competitors in the region. This also involved a full day photo-shoot of the property to help the design and style apparent in every nook and cranny of this property to be seen in full light. Brent Dakis Jewellery is the personal jewellery brand of Runaway Graphics’ lead designer. Alongside having provided graphic design solutions for 15 years, Brent also conceives and fabricates bespoke gold, silver and other precious jewellery. Parents from The Patch Primary School approached Runaway Graphics to help create an identity and marketing material for their new fundraiser festival intended to run annually.
Limerence was a retail store run by Brent Dakis of Runaway Graphics and CJ Baxter of fashion label Twisted Fig. Operated between 2010 and 2015, Limerence represented over 60 Australian artists who created handmade products. The space also acted as a gallery where monthly exhibitions were held for breakout artists. Limerence’s identity was branded, maintained and marketed by Runaway Graphics. Posters for exhibition launches were also created, as well as website design, social media management, and print promotional material.
The Confectory was a boutique lolly and liquor store in Belgrave, VIC. Designed for the decedent confectionary lovely, The Confectory stocked a wide range of high end chocolate, lollies, jams and sweet wines, as well as a selection of vegan, gluten free and sugar free options. Runaway Graphics was commissioned to develop a complete branding ID for The Confectory that included logo design, shop signage, print products such as business cards and promotional media, interior design (including the concept and implementation of the back wall of the shop, as well as sourcing, fitting and dressing all fixtures and fittings), and a website.
Dakis Consulting is a psychology and relationships counselling service that requested a new brand identity be created to reflect its forward thinking, dynamic and reliable practice methods.
One of the components of Runaway Graphics role while part of The Skylark Room team was producing event posters for performing bands. This became a fast and cost effective aspect of the venue, that provided continuity in design style and quality, while also providing bands and musicians with high quality posters they were able to use to promote their events. Helen & Joey Estate is a boutique winery hidden away in Gruyere, VIC. Runaway Graphics was approached to help enhance their digital content marketing and mailing list templates. Over the course of a few weeks Runaway Graphics set up templates with existing branding to help take Helen & Joey’s refined presence to the next level.
Local musician and composer Edward Willoughby approached Runaway Graphics to design an business card to reflect his style and persona as an individual and performer.
Local fashion label Beautiful Wasteland approached Runaway Graphics to help develop a brand identity to convey the natural dye techniques used in their fashion designs and accessories.
Intermission was a small scale festival run in place of the 2014 End of the Line Festival that helped raise funds to produce the 2015 event. Posters, programs for art auctions, and digital marketing content was produced by Runaway Graphics.
Runaway Graphics favoures environmentally conscious deisgn work as well as business practices. Black Rainbow is an incredible professional printing company that operates on 100% solar power and offers a fantastic range of recycled paper and card stock as well as vegetable based printing inks. When asked to help rebrand their business Runway Graphics was very excited to help curate and refine design concepts that help to reflect their ethical business standards and alternative approach to an industry that often produces a lot of waste.
The Blacksmith Cafe in Belgrave VIC (Formally known as Chocolate Sensation) approached Runaway Graphics to help rebrand their business. This project included the redesign of the buisness logo, their fascia signage, menus & coffee/business cards. A few years later the business changed name and was rebranded in the same fashion as it’s predecessor.
Annual ‘Hills’ festival Selbyfest asked Runaway Graphics to help promote their community event. In collaboration with artist Nadia Turner, Runaway Graphics produced print and digital poster designs for the festival from 2011 through to 2015.
